16 Treasure Valley Teams Compete At State This Weekend

3 Treasure Valley teams won play in games Saturday to make it to state. Borah, Bishop Kelly and Parma had wins to give the Treasure Valley 16 teams in six brackets in games that start this week.
Borah defeated Coeur d'Alene 67-51 in Grangeville to earn the right to the 5A tournament. Bishop Kelly routed Minico 90-62 in Mountain Home to qualify for the 4A playoffs, and Parma won a close one over Bonners Ferry 45-44 in a 3A play-in game at Grangeville.
These are the District III teams that will compete at state in 6 brackets:
• 5A: Rocky Mountain, Capital, Timberline, Nampa and Borah
• 4A: Middleton, Mountain Home and Bishop Kelly
• 3A: Fruitland, Weiser and Parma
• 2A: Melba and Nampa Christian
• 1A Division I: Ambrose and Liberty Charter
• 1A Division II: Council
