It is official, former Boise State running back Jay Ajayi did suffer a concussion during practice with the Miami Dolphins on Monday and will miss at least a week of practice.

Ajayi, who rushed for 1200 yards last year including three 200 yard games was lifted from practice Monday morning after some early season contact drills that have prompted criticism of the coaching staff from fans.

Ajayi will be tested weekly as per concussion protocol and will be kept from any contact until all symptoms are gone.

Ajayi has taken a beating of late, he dislocated a shoulder last year and at Boise State had an ACL knee injury.
