Could Boise State be losing another head coach? On Tuesday, Washington State announced it had fired Ken Bone the men’s basketball coach after going 80-86 in five seasons.

A name that was one of the first mentioned by Washington State athletic director Bill Moos was Boise State coach Leon Rice. The Boise State head coach is a 1986 graduate of Washington State and has gone 77-54 in four seasons with the Broncos. The Cougar Nation Web site confirms WSU is intrested in Rice.

One other coach that has been mentioned is former Oregon coach Ernie Kent.

So far there has been no word from Rice or Boise State.
