Bogus Basin To Close Sunday April 8th

Bogus Basin ski area was hoping to remain open until April 15th but an extremely warm rain event has melted a lot of the base and with more of the same weather on the way, Bogus officials decided to make the call this would be the last weekend for skiing. All lifts will be operating as normal this weekend but Sunday will end the season. More rain overnight and warm temperatures are expected to continuing eroding the snow base and rather than wait until Monday to see if there was enough snow for one more weekend, the decision was made to let everyone know if you want another weekend to ski, this is it.
