Boise Hawk Season Countdown

The countdown has begun to the 2017 Boise Hawks baseball season. This time next week the Hawks will actually arrive in Boise to prepare for the season opener at Spokane June 15th. In fact the Hawks will open with a five game road trip before opening the home season with Eugene June 20th.

Between now and then a new video board is being installed even as the Hawks and Colorado Rockies continue to work on a new stadium downtown. The first pitch in a new stadium is at least three season's off so the new video board to an attempt to freshen the current ball park in the interim.

The 2017 roster is still being finalized but the baseball season in Boise is fast approaching and all the final touches to existing Memorial Stadium are underway with the first pitch set for two weeks from tomorrow.
