Can anybody catch the Hillsboro Hops? The Hops have the best record in the Northwest League at 21-9 and lead the South Division.

Everett leads the North with a 16-14 record to give you an idea of how well the Hops have been playing.

Can anybody reel them in? The next three nights could be a good indication as Hillsboro host the Boise Hawks. The Hawks are second in the south division but have the 2nd best record in the NW League at 17-13.

Boise heads to Hillsboro coming off a 6-2 win over Vancouver Sunday night, scoring all 6 of their runs in the 7th inning. The big hit was a bases loaded triple by Luke Morgan.

The road trip marks back to back series with division leaders. Once done at Hillsboro on Wednesday the Hawks return home to host North division leading Everett on Thursday.

Can the Hawks hop the Hops? This will be an interesting week in NW League baseball.
