The Boise State Broncos pounded the San Jose Spartans Wednesday at Taco Bell Arena.

The 86-36 win set a season-high in scoring by halftime and saw one of the best defensive efforts in school history. This was the second-largest margin of victory ever in a Mountain West game.

Thirteen Broncos scored in the win, led by senior guard Derrick Marks' 19 points. Marks has 78 points during the three-game winning streak. He passed Chris Childs (1985-89) for fifth on the school's all-time scoring list with 1,608 career points. In defense of the Spartans, they only had 8 players healthy for the game.
