The BSU football team will have a new look for Friday’s game against BYU. This is Cancer Awareness Month and national Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so the Broncos will wear new gray pants that just arrived this year and the gray jerseys that were added to their wardrobe in 2011 along with their traditional blue helmets.
Each player has a choice of a pink ribbon decal for breast cancer, a blue ribbon for prostate, colon and testicular cancers or a lavender ribbon for all other cancers. They’ve been wearing the helmet ribbons all month.
They also will have pink accents available…mouthpieces, chinstraps, arm sleeves, bicep bands, wristbands, two sets of gloves (white and pink, black and pink) and black socks with pink on the back.
