If Boise State’s first few football recruits in the 2019 class are any indication, the future is looking very bright for BSU fans. Two of the first three recruits each are ranked in the top 20 at their respective positions.

According to USA Today, Boise State continues to build on what is appearing to be an outstanding early recruiting class with the verbal commitment of linebacker Casey Kline of Union High in California. Casey had this to say about his verbal commitment: "After I visited for the spring game (in April), I kind of knew it was going to be the place I picked," Kline said. "But I wanted to be 100 percent sure, double-checked my other options and got more anxious to commit."

Kline is rated by 247Sports, Rivals and ESPN as a four-star recruit. He's ranked as the No. 20 outside linebacker in the 2019 recruiting class by 247sports.

This is in addition to the story we told you about last week, about the Bronco’s adding another four-star recruit in quarterback Hank Bachmeier, who is rated as the 4th best pro style high school quarterback in the nation.
Kline's other scholarship offers came from these Pac 12 schools: Oregon, Oregon State and Washington State. He had previously committed to Arizona last fall but de-committed in earlier this year after the head coach, Rich Rodriguez was fired.

Now, just because BSU has verbal commitments, doesn’t mean the work is done.…the trick will be holding on to Kline and Bachmeier as the Power 5 conferences continue to try and pry them away before official signing day in December.

According to 247sports these are Boise State’s verbal commitments so far for the 2019 recruiting class:

STUD Alec Pell, 6-4, 215, Cherry Creek High (Greenwood Village, Colo.)

QB Hank Bachmeier, 6-3, 190, Murrieta (Calif.) Valley High

STUD/LB Casey Kline, 6-5, 215, Brawley (Calif.) Union High
