Boise State’s Maddie Osburn and Jannell Walley will be a part of the 2017 Mountain West All-Star Volleyball Team that will compete in Europe this summer.

This will be the fourth straight year the Broncos have been represented on the MW All-Star Volleyball Team and the fifth-straight that a Bronco has competed at the European Global Challenge in Pula, Croatia. Other Boise State student-athletes who have competed for the MW All-Stars include: Sarah Baugh (2014), Maddy O’Donnell (2015), Kaitlyn Oliver (2015) and Sierra Nobley (2016). Katelyn Kinghorn was the first to travel to the European Global Challenge having competed for a intermountain region select team during the summer of 2013 prior to the MW sponsoring a team.

Twelve Mountain West student-athletes make up the team that will travel to Maribor, Slovenia, for several days of training sessions and friendly matches against national teams from the region. From July 10-15, the team will compete in the 2017 European Global Challenge in Pula, Croatia, featuring junior national and club teams from throughout Europe.

Leading the trip will be San Diego State women’s volleyball coach Deitre Collins-Parker. She will be assisted by Sammi Stuart from Utah State and Megan Burton from Nevada.
