The Boise State basketball team announced the suspension of guards Derrick Marks and Dezmyn Trent for three games due to a violation of team rules.
The school announced the suspensions may be staggered due to the fact that Marks and Trent play the same position.
Both missed the 92-60 win over La Verne in its exhibition opener Saturday and will miss the game against Montana Tech. One is expected to miss the regular-season opener Nov. 14 against San Diego, and the other will miss the Nov. 15 game at Loyola Marymount.
Marks was second on the team in scoring last year, averaging 14.9 points per game, while Trent appeared in 20 games for the Broncos and averaged 2.6 points per game.
