The watch list season has begun with the inclusion of Boise State safety Kekoa Nawahine on the Lott Watch List which recognizes both character and performance in naming the nations top college football defensive player.

Nawahine is one of 42 players to make the pre-season list named after former NFL great Ronnie Lott.

Nawahine is a junior from Rocky Mountain in Meridian who started all 14 Boise State games last year and was named All-Mountain West.
