The Boise State men's basketball team is off to a 4-0 start for the first time since the 2013 season after beating Illinois State 82-64 in the semi finals of the Puerto Rico Tip Off Tournament in Conway, South Carolina.

Boise State led as many as 30 points, 69-39 before head coach Leon Rice cleared the bench.

Chandler Hutchison scored 19 points but more impressively, he tied the tournament record with 18 rebounds. Illinois State made a late 17-0 run against the BSU bench but never got any closer than 15 points.

The Broncos will plays the Iowa State/Tulsa winner in the championship game Sunday at 3pm Boise time.

The Puerto Rico Tip off Tournament was moved to South Carolina following the devastation of Hurricane Maria.
