The battle for the top spot in men's Mountain West basketball belongs to Nevada for the time being following a decisive 76-57 win over Boise State. The Wolfpack went on a 16-2 run midway through the second half to seal the deal. Nevada is now 6-2 in league, Boise State 5-3.

Boise State has now lost four of their last six games and two in a row at home where they win 82% of the time. Chandler Hutchinson who led the Broncos with 23pts said afterwards the team has to get refocused and locked in.

The Mountain West schedule doesn't get any easier as Boise State now faces games at Wyoming and Colorado State. Wyoming beat UNLV 66-65 Wednesday while Colorado State topped San Jose State 81-72.
