Boise State would never pass the eyeball test against New Mexico. The Lobo mens basketball team is huge with maybe the best front line in college basketball. Untill Wednesday New Mexico was the one Mountain West team Boise State had not beaten, 0-6, untill Wednesday.

71-70 the final, Boise State overcoming a 12 point deficit, hot shooting and huge rim protectors in Cameron Bairstow and Alex Kirk. BSU made it happen with a little help from the bench. Thomas Bropleh was at practice about an hour early on Tuesday taking three pointers from everywhere on the court. One after the other Bropleh practiced his three point shot.

Wendesday he came off the bench to ignite his teammates with four three pointers and 14 points in 26 minutes. Meantime, Ryan Watkins quietly completed yet another double-double, 12pts-11rb's and Anthony Drimic scored 18.

The end result was a much needed "team" win. Now BSU has untill February 22 to prepare and rest weary bodies for Colorado State. As head coach Leon Rice says, "It'll be another war!"
