Broncos Come Up Short In Las Vegas
A loss last night brought Boise State's 6 game winning streak to an end as the Broncos saw a tying 3-point shot by Nick Duncan fall short as Boise State lost to Loyola of Chicago 48-45 in the championship game at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
The Broncos didn’t score in the final four minutes and didn’t make a field goal in the final five.
Boise State was without leading scorers Anthony Drmic, who has missed the last six games, and Derrick Marks due to injury.
Boise State is off for the next week as it prepares for Mountain West play. Boise State opens its conference schedule Dec. 31 at Colorado State and returns home to face Utah State on Jan. 3.
