BSU Puerto Rico Tip-off Move to Mainland

Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico and the aftermath has caused immense hardship leading ESPN officials to move the Puerto Rico basketball tip-off tournament to Conway, South Carolina and the campus of Coastal Carolina University.

Boise State will open the tournament November 16th at noon against Texas El Paso on ESPNU. Also competing in the tournament are: South Carolina, Iowa State, Tulsa, Western Michigan, Illinois State and Appalachian State.

ESPN officials say their thoughts are with the people of Puerto Rico and they hope they are hopeful to return next year where the tournament has been held for nearly a decade.
