Boise State looked unbeatable in the first half of their game at Wyoming Saturday night. The Broncos jumped to an early double digit lead and led by as many as 17 points.

That was the first half. The second half was a totally different story. Wyoming erased the big lead and forced the game to overtime winning 79-78.

Twice Boise State standout Chandler Hutchison had a chance to win the game for the Broncos and twice his shot just didn't fall. Hutch had two drives to the bucket with shots that just as easily could have dropped but lipped out.

Now 3-1 in conference and 13-3 overall the Broncos have to try and put that game on the back burner because up next is another road game in Fresno Tuesday.

The Bulldogs of Fresno State are 12-5 overall and 2-2 in league play including an overtime win at Colorado State Saturday 81-79.

You have Fresno State coming off a big road win and BSU coming off a big road collapse. The Broncos biggest challenge in preparation for tomorrows tussle in Fresno is to forget what happened in Laramie. That's just life on the road in the Mountain West, for that matter life on the road in college basketball.

Boise State left Laramie directly for Fresno giving them a chance to catch a breather and to stay away from any distractions. Boise State will return home to host San Diego State on Saturday.

Right now the top of the Mountain West standings look like this:

Nevada 15-3 (4-0) Boise State 13-3 (3-1) Utah State 10-7 (3-1) San Diego State 10-4 (2-1) and Wyoming 11-5 (2-1)
