Former Boise State Junior College football coach and BSU Athletic Director Lyle Smith turns 101 next month but you can still see him walking on campus and sometimes attends football practice.

So what do you get a nearly 101 year old former coach who is still active and enjoying life? You get him a power wheelchair!

The campaign was started by former Broncos football player Dan Lukehart with a goal of $4,000. The goal was reached over the weekend and because of the fundraising effort coach Smith will now have a little more freedom and mobility.

Donors say they can't wait to see coach Smith scooting around Lyle Smith field routing on the Broncos.
