Another crazy season of college football is coming to a close and now it’s time for teams to reap the benefits of their months of hard work. Here are your first four teams taking part in the first College Football Playoff:

1. Alabama
2. Oregon
3. Florida State
4. Ohio State

Ohio State really made a statement after beating Wisconsin in the Big 10 Championship, 59-0. That dominating win against the Badgers pretty much erased the loss to Virginia Tech earlier in the season.

First seed Alabama will take on Ohio State in the Sugar Bowl, while Oregon will face Florida State in the Rose Bowl – both on New Year’s Day. Obviously, the winners of those two games will face off in the National Championship game. The Rose Bowl game will kick at 5:30 PM ET and the Sugar Bowl game will kick at 8:30 PM ET.

The College Football Playoff National Championship will take place on January 12, at AT&T Stadium.

Boise State had a monster first half against Fresno State in the Mountain West Championship game, but struggled a bit in the second half. Beau Martin’s game sealing interception closed the game and cemented Boise State’s place as Mountain West Champions.

With the Mountain West Championship win, Boise State finishes the season ranked 20 and will play the 10th ranked Arizona in the Fiesta Bowl.

The Vizio Fiesta Bowl will take place on December 31 at University of Phoenix Stadium; kick off at 4 PM ET. This will be the Broncos third Fiesta Bowl since 2007.
