Former Boise State and Detroit Lions receiver Titus Young has had his jury trial date set for April 14 in Compton, Calif. Young faces four counts of battery, including a felony, and up to nine years in prison.

The 25 year-old former star will stand trial in Los Angeles County Superior Court. He has been charged with three misdemeanor counts of battery on school, park or hospital property and one felony count of battery with serious bodily injury for allegedly punching his then-lawyer, Brian Hurwitz.

Late last year Young entered a plea of not guilty to the four counts of battery. Young faces 11 other criminal counts in Orange County, Calif.
