After breaking his ankle in training camp it was unclear if Kellen Moore would recover in time to be used in any of the Dallas Cowboys games this season.

Now we know there is no chance of the former Bronco returning to the field this season. The Cowboys add Moore to their season-ending injure reserve list.

This could've been a break through year for Moore after Tony Romo broke a bone in  his back as they Cowboys faced the Seahawks in the preseason. Right now, the Cowboys are looking to start Dak Prescott, a rookie out of Mississippi State. The Cowboys have not revealed how long they expect Romo to be out.
