Day 1, Potato Bowl Football 7 On 7 Challenge (Video)

Optimist Field was the site for the fifth annual Famous Idaho Potato Bowl Football Challenge features 7 on 7 teams from around Idaho.

Day 1 saw seeding games with Saturday focusing on single-elimination games. The varsity championship is noon Saturday along with a Lineman’s Challenge from 9-10:30 a.m. and a Tug-of-War at 11:45 a.m.

Admission is free.

This year’s schools who are taking part are defending champion Bishop Kelly, Boise, Bonneville, Capital, Centennial, Cole Valley Christian, Eagle, Emmett, Fruitland, Highland, Jerome, Lake City, Melba, Meridian, Mountain View, Pocatello, Rocky Mountain, Skyview and Vallivue .
