Eagle High School and Bishop Kelly Come Up Big Winners

Eagle High School’s Josh Gliege and Haley Nist from Bishop Kelly High won the boys and girls championships at the 47th annual Dropping Junior Championship at Banbury Golf Course Tuesday. Gliege shot a 2-under 211 over three rounds to win by two strokes, while Barker was plus-13 at 226 in her seven-stroke victory. Gliege is a sophomore now going into his Junior year on Eagle’s state championship team this past spring; Nist is a two-time state champion headed for Oregon State.
