Boise State basketball coach Leon Rice rides a fine line everyday when it comes to his youthful basketball team. The talent is there but sometimes lacking is the success of experience.

Coach Rice chatted with the media today prior to Tuesdays showdown at Taco bell Arena against new Mexico. Rice watched his 4-0 team fall behind by 28 points at Fresno State last Saturday. The fight never went out in the young Broncos as they pulled to within 9 before losing 89-80 but youth and it's resultant inconsistency were the contributing factors to BSU's first conference loss.

Tuesday night at 9pm on ESPNU the Broncos will host New Mexico and coach Rice is hoping the team will respond well. The short turnaround between games means players have to have short memories when it comes to disappointments and yet the focus to return to those things that have been so successful.

The fine line Rice will ride all season in a league where parity rules.
