Lexy Halladay of Mountain View high school is just a freshman and she will be one of two freshman running in the invite only Adidas Girl's Dream Mile tomorrow in Somerville, Massachusetts.

The top 12 prep female milers in the country have been invited to compete and Halladay comes into the race with the second fastest time among the field.

Taylor Roe of Lake Stevens, Washington has the best time at 4:45.97 just .38 hundredths of a second faster than Halladay.

Race officials say they will use a rabbit pacesetter the first two laps set for 2:20. Pacesetter rabbits are used in some elite races to ensure a fast time and many believe it will take a 4:40 or better to win.

The race is set to start at 4:47 p.m. MDT tomorrow. Halladay will also run in a Seattle Invitational later this month June 17th.
