The Boise Hawks have been gone for more than two weeks but not forgotten.

The Hawks wrap up a 15 game road swing at Vancouver today and find themselves just 1 game behind Hillsboro for the lead and a playoff spot in the South division of the NW League.

The Hawks beat Vancouver Tuesday night 10-4 scoring half their runs in the 5th inning alone.

The Hawks will be home Friday, Saturday and Sunday for a three game series against division leading Hillsboro that will decide each teams playoff status.

At best the Hawks will be tied with Hillsboro come Friday but at worst they be 2 games behind the Hops with three head to head showdowns over the weekend at memorial stadium.

Sure everyone is thinking football and Labor Day weekend but throw some baseball on the sports fire as the Hawks hope to heat it up for the Hops before the season is all said and done.
