The Boise Hawks continue their long road trip, 15 games in the American League, with a game at division leading Hillsboro tonight. They do so finding the runs and the hits hard to come by the last couple of games.

Following a 6-0 loss to Eugene on Monday Boise dropped a 3-1 decision to Eugene last night and in both games was only able to muster 5-hits. That's 10 total hits and 1 run in the last two games.

As a result the Hawks have dropped out of first place in the South division of the NW League and are 2 games behind leader Hillsboro. The good news is Boise plays at Hillsboro the next few games with a chance to narrow the gap.

First they have to bring their bats to the ball park and the road is still long as Boise won't be back in town until September 1st when they host Hillsboro in a regular season ending three game series.
