If you are headed to any High School sporting event this Fall you will find admission has gone up. General admission will be $6 for adults, $4 for students and $3 for seniors and elementary-age children. The ticket price increases are for all home games, conference and nonconference. Admission for away games hosted at schools outside the SIC are set by those conferences.

The SIC conferences are made up of teams from District III, which includes Ada, Canyon and Elmore counties made up of 5A high schools (Boise, Borah, Capital, Centennial, Columbia, Eagle, Meridian, Mountain View, Nampa, Rocky Mountain, Timberline and Vallivue) and the 4A high schools (Bishop Kelly, Caldwell, Kuna, Middleton, Mountain Home, Skyview).

Ty Jones, the director of the IHSAA says the board of directors voted in April to increase the price of admission to state tournament and playoff games by $1 as well.
