Boise soccer star Sofia Huerta has once again been named to the USA women's soccer national roster, this time for a pair of international friendlies against China.

Huerta, who played her high school soccer at Centennial High has appeared in five USA games and in fact started one. Thursday team USA will play China in Salt Lake City at 7 p.m. and the game will be televised by Fox Sports 1.

Game two with China will be in Cleveland June 12th. Huerta has always said her dream is to play for team USA in the World Cup and every time she is added to the USA roster that dream becomes more of a reality. Huerta is a defender for team USA and her speed and skill have certainly caught the eye of head coach Jill Ellis. Qualification for the Women's World Cup begins in October and the USA roster will be named shortly before. There is no guarantee so Huerta tries to make the best of every opportunity.
