Pool play wasn't pretty for Idaho teams at the Far West soccer regionals in Seattle. 14 Idaho teams entered the tournament having qualified as state champions but heading into the quarterfinals Friday only two Idaho teams remain.

The Boise Boys U-17 National Timbers went 3-0 in pool play scoring a tournament high 17 goals! That is amazing in a tournament that features state championship teams from across the west. Kaden Baratcart of Boise High has found the net 6 times already and teammate Alexander Singleton of Rocky Mountain has 5 goals.

The Boise U-17 National Timbers will meet the Washington GS Surf in Fridays quarterfinal action.

The only other Idaho team to make it out of pool action is the FC Nova U-16 Girls Elite team who went 2-0-1 in pool play. They'll tangle with the Utah Celtic FC Premier team in Fridays quarterfinal round.
