The Idaho Steelheads opened a three game series at Rapid City Wednesday night beating the Rush 4-3.

Cody Corbett’s first goal as a Steelhead held up as the eventual game-winner and Ryan Faragher made 27 saves in his Steelheads debut in goal.

Idaho now 6-3-4 have back-to-back wins and points in seven of the last eight contests, while the Rush saw a four-game winning streak come to an end.

With a goal and an assist, Corbett posted a multi-point game for the fourth time in the last six games. Brady Brassart collected two assists to extend his points streak to a career-best eight games.

The Steelheads and the Rush collide again tomorrow and Saturday in Rapid City.
