The Idaho Vandals will host Eastern Washington in a non-conference game during the 2019 season, September 21st in the Kibbie Dome.

The two Big Sky teams were not scheduled for a conference showdown in 2019 but the agreement allows both schools to complete their 12 game schedule for 2019.

Beginning with the 2020 season, the Big Sky Conference will institute a scheduling policy that guarantees each school will play its two protected rivals every year. Idaho’s two rivals will be EWU and Montana.

Idaho leads the all-time series against Eastern Washington 15-7. The Eagles have won the last three meetings, including the 2018 matchup in Cheney on their way to a national runner-up performance in the FCS Playoffs.
