Jay Ajayi Sidelined With Injury

Things have gone from difficult to….frustrating for former BSU running back Jay Ajayi. Once projected as a potential second-round pick, Ajayi fell to the fifth round because of concerns with the lack of cartilage in his knee. Once in traing camp some questioned his pass blocking ability. Now, Ajayi will be sidelined for an undetermined length of time with a hamstring injury.

With Damien Williams and former San Francisco 49ers LaMichael James hot on his heels, Ajayi's spot on the depth chart will take a hit with this injury. If he's able to return quickly and back to playing at a high level, Ajayi will have a role with this team. Until then, he and the Dolphins will play the waiting game.
