Jeron Johnson Leaves Seattle

Former Boise State safety Jeron Johnson will get his chance to prove he’s an NFL starter this season, but not for the Seattle Seahawks. Johnson signed with the Washington Redskins as a free agent Monday, leaving Seattle where he has been a backup and special-teamer for four seasons, earning a Super Bowl ring two years ago.
