Jimmy Johnson Picks Up First Win Of The Season

Jimmy Johnson was not pleased with his car earlier in the week, but scored his 71st career Sprint Cup Series win Sunday in the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Johnson dominated the second half of Sunday’s race to pick up his first win since taking the checkered flag at Texas Motor Speedway in November.

He led six times for 92 laps, including the final 21, to win for the fourth time in his career at the Atlanta Motor Speedway.
