Former Idaho basketball coach Larry Eustachy who has his Colorado State Rams atop the Mountain West basketball standings is upset a report he verbally abused players at Colorado State has been made public.

The Rams are 10-4 and lead Boise State and Nevada by half a game in the league standings. The newspaper in Fort Collins, the Coloradoan received documents showing Eustachy was investigated during the 2013-14 for creating an atmosphere of fear and intimidation.

The documents show former athletic director Jack Graham warned Eustachy he could be terminated if certain behaviors continued. Eustachy admitted he crossed the line by calling players names, throwing chairs and other objects and punching a whiteboard.

Eustachy released a statement through the university saying he is deeply disappointed someone chose to publicize confidential information from his personnel file. He went on to say he isn't perfect and is striving to be better every day.
