The Lewis Clark State College baseball team got beat by Cumberland University on Friday night, as the Warriors were shut out by the Bulldogs in a 3-0 loss.

Cumberland scored first in the second inning with a line drive down the leftfield line, scoring a pair of runners. The Bulldogs picked up another run in the seventh off.

Cumberland pitcher Anthony Gomez scattered six hits throughout the shutout victory. Ty Jackson gave up two runs in the loss.

With the win, Cumberland becomes the lowest seed (No. 10) to win a national title.
