The longtime tradition of honoring current and former military continues this Saturday night at Meridian Speedway.

All military and family will be admitted free with a military ID. This is a tradition at the Speedway held every year the weekend before Memorial Day.

Track manager Adam Nelson noticed that Memorial Day racing was more targeted at fallen racers and while that's special in and of itself, Memorial Day is also about those who have served and sacrificed in the military for this country.

Rather than combining the two, Meridian Speedway devotes the Saturday before Memorial weekend with a special racing card free to all military and their families that includes special military presentations.
