While the Ohio State Buckeye’s get ready to play the Oregon Ducks for the National Championship, a report from Thayer Evans of Sports Illustrated says Boise State offensive coordinator Mike Sanford interviewed for Ohio State's offensive coordinator vacancy. But the story is the same as it was when Sanford’s name came up for the OC job at Vanderbilt late last month, The former Bronco Quarterback is staying with the Blue and Orange.

The vacancy was created when Tom Herman left Ohio State to become the head coach at the University of Houston last month.

Sanford's father, Mike, worked with Ohio State coach Urban Meyer as his offensive coordinator at Utah from 2003-04 and both Meyer and Sanford’s father were on Notre Dame's staff from 1997-98.
