Nampa Valley Little League Advances

The Nampa Valley Little League Intermediate All-Star Team swept a three-game series Saturday against Hayden Little League in North Idaho to win the state title and earned a spot in the west regional in Nogales, Arizona, starting July 17.

Nampa mercy-ruled Hayden in five innings in both games — 19-2 in the first game and 12-1 in the second game. The 12-team tournament, will feature teams from Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Alaska and Hawaii.
