According to tennis legend Martina Navratilova the BBC pays John McEnroe 10 times what she makes for covering Wimbledon.

Navratilova was said she was told by the BBC that she was paid a comparable amount as McEnroe but then later saw a report listing McEnroe's salary as between $210,000 and $280,000.

Navratilova says her salary is $21,000 and that makes her angry because she was not told the truth about being paid comparably plus she wants to make a statement for other women going through this same thing.

The BBC responded to Navratilova by saying her job and that of McEnroe aren't even comparable. That Martina is an "occasional contributor" while John is signed for all 13 days of the tournament appearing on TV and radio as the defining voice to the BBC Network.

The BBC saying the two positions are on a total different scale and time commitment.

None the less the pay gap comparison was part of a BBC show about the Equal Pay Scandal in Britain.

The All-England Club is the home of Wimbledon where Navratilova is a 9-time champion.
