The College Football Playoff committee updated their playoff rankings this evening and Boise State checked in at 23. Another "Group of Five" school cracked the top 25, undefeated Marshall is ranked 24. Because Boise State is the highest ranked school from the Group of Five, they'd be the ones to get a spot in one of the six New Year's Day bowl games. If the Broncos were to win out, they'd likely get the access bowl spot over Marshall.

Broncos play Saturday, November 29 at Albertson's Stadium against Utah State. Winner goes to the Mountain West Championship game.
