Nike knows how to make a historic moment even more memorable.

In the wake of the Cavaliers' thrilling NBA title, Nike -- which counts LeBron James among its clients -- put out this spot in honor of the city of Cleveland winning its first championship in a major sport in 52 years. If you've been a fan of team, or a city, that has struggled for years, you'll sympathize with this ad.

It painstakingly depicts how much this championship means to the entire city after going so long without being able to call one of its teams a winner (a feeling of accomplishment J.R. Smith articulated  in touching fashion).

To borrow from a different sport, Nike hit it out of the park with this one. Sure, the commercial was put together before Game 7 was played, but that doesn't take away from the impact.

Enjoy your moment, Cleveland. You've more than earned it.
