The Idaho Steelheads season came to a close last night when Drayson Bowman of Colorado scored in overtime to give the Eagles a 1-0 win and a 4-0 sweep of the ECHL Division Championship series against Idaho.

It was the second straight series in which Idaho trailed three games to none. They were able to do some magic and make the Allen Americans disappear in the first round of the Kelly Cup playoffs but Colorado wasn't going anywhere!

Honestly Colorado, the regular season Mountain division winner was the best team but not by as much as a 4-nothing sweep might indicate.

Three of the four games were decided by 1`goal and two of those three went into overtime.

The Steelheads had their chances last night and outshot the Eagles 47-35 but Idaho was 0-4 on power play opportunities and ultimately paid the price.
