The 21st annual Famous Idaho Potato Bowl will kickoff at 2 p.m. Friday December 22nd on ESPN. This will be the third consecutive year the game has been played on December 22.

The game will pair a Mountain West team against a team from the Mid-American Conference. It will mark the 5th straight time a MW team has competed in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl while the MAC has put a team in Boise 7 of the last 8 years.

The Famous Idaho Potato Bowl will be one of two bowl games that Friday, the other being the Bahamas Bowl.

Last year after a scoreless first quarter, Idaho beat Colorado State 61-50 in a record setting offensive show where the Vandals and Rams combined for 1206 offensive yards.

The Famous Idaho Potato Bowl is the longest running northern most Bowl game in the nation and is one of 13 bowl games owned and operated by ESPN Events a division of ESPN.
