The Rocky Mountain Grizzlies are tops in this weeks AP high school football poll. The Grizzlies are 2-0 following a 28-21 battle with Capital. The Eagles are 1-1 and 4th in the latest poll.

Capital will host Highland of Pocatello Friday night in a game to be broadcast live on sports radio 630 The Fan.

Coeur d A'lene is second in the new poll, Mountain View 3rd and Madison 5th. All eyes are on September 15th when #1 Rocky Mountain plays at #3 Mountain View, the defending 5A state champs in a game on sports radio 630 The Fan

In 4A Skyview of Nampa remains the #1 team with Bishop Kelly 2nd. The Knights shutdown a two point conversion in the closing seconds to beat Borah 27-26 to improve to 2-0 on the year. Vallivue of Caldwell also in the top 5 at number four.
