Running Back Leaves BSU Program

Junior running back Charles Bertoli has left the Boise State football team.
Bertoli who has been a key member of special teams, was expected to compete for playing time this fall at running back.
Bertoli would have been a junior appeared in all 14 games last season and had four tackles, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries.
Bertoli also averaged 13.6 yards on five kick returns in 2014 and had nine carries at running back for 24 yards.
He played in 27 games for Boise State the past two years.
Boise State coaches gave no reason for his departure.
