630 the Fan will be at Thunder Stadium Friday September 7th for what could be a season defining game for one team.

Skyview, playing it's first year as a 5A school faces perennial 5A powerhouse, the Eagle Mustangs.

The Hawks and Mustangs are both 1-1 on the year and both have lost to the same team, the Borah Lions.

Borah neat Skyview 47-13 opening night and in week two Borah topped Eagle 45-25.

The final scores are eerily similar as are the hawks and Mustang wins. Skyview over Centennial 49-12 and Eagle over Meridian 43-21.

That being said something has to give Friday night at Thunder stadium. If Skyview and Eagle want to keep pace with Borah and Rocky Mountain Fridays game becomes a must win.

Eagle has a new quarterback in Ben Ford who is just a sophomore but now has two games under his belt.

Skyview counters with a veteran quarterback in Wyatt Storer a three year starter.

Join Desmond Banks and me for all the action at 7 p.m. from Thunder Stadium where the Eagle Mustangs are hard to beat.
