The Snake River Stampede has been inducted into the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame.

The Stampede is among 10 inductees for 2014, which includes other pro rodeos and rodeo contestants.

The Hall of Fame is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and run by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association's board.

“Introduction into the Hall of Fame is the highest honor a rodeo can achieve and we are honored to be the first rodeo in Idaho and only the second in the Northwest to receive this honor,” Jeff Agenbroad, President of the Snake River Stampede.

The 99th Snake River Stampede rodeo kicks off at the Ford Idaho Center on July 10th.
